Jordan got a butterfly habitat and we sent away for the caterpillars. After eating and growing huge, they made cocoons and then hatched into butterflies. We kept them a few days, but it was obvious that they wanted to fly.
Jordan setting the butterflies free in our backyard. (Don't know why Julia has a net.)
One of the butterflies stayed around awhile.
